also with 8 core chips released on sandybridge i wouldn't upgrade till i knew what socket i would need for the chip.

They are both the same it comes down to the brand. I would go for the Gigabyte i them for ages with no problems.

i got the gigabyte one and have had no problem with it, and my last build was gigabyte also. top board top brand and its the cheaper option also. id def recomend gigabyte to anyone. also found board easy to work on/assemble etc

i have 3 gigabyte boards, the 6 year old pc still runs well
