ASUS engTX480

I just got one and i still pull the same frame rate as the Ati 4870 i had. goto update the driver but out off the box i would have thought it be better still. I will upgrade the PS soon but i hope it fires up then. Running a 650w on 1 hdd with no other cards in it. Set the graphics to high and it was nice @ 40fps. No glitches like ATi. medium @ 70fps. Fraps ran slightly better. Is there some thing else i missed.

The shop guy said the old PS suited the old card, im starting to think it didnt fire it up to full power like the new card.

Oh no , some thing wrong, just come out of a game and it 68deg. might put the old one back in till a grab a big power supply.

The graphics were way better but still same frame rate after update.

wow you should be getting a lot higher than 40fps with that card i get like 90 fps with single card on high 1900*1200 res and about 290 fps in sli i run i5 750 @4.1ghz and 4g ram not much different than your set up but i have thermaltake tough power 850w psu modular

the 480 chew up a huge amount of power like 400w at max ive read so a good psu will help also download MSI AFTERBURNER AWESOME for nvidia cards
