| To tell you the truth Samsung is exactly what I was originally just going to look at. Samsung P2370 23inch Wide 2ms TouchCtrols Slim CrystalBlack for $245 http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=143&bid=2&sid=51601The above monitor showed as out of stock at Umart so i just took a look at ViewSonic since my current monitor has been great (but it's time to move the 19" LCD onto the kids PC). What can you recommend in the Samsung line up in the 23" to 24" range? | |

| And the good points of the ASUS over the Samsung would be that it has HDMI, but then again the Samsung is 2ms instead of 5ms in terms of response time. | |

| Samsung P2370 is now at end of life by the looks of it since it's pulled from umarts price list.
I just placed an order for the Samsung P2350 for $236 | |

| Just unpacked my 23" Samsung P2350 that I got for $236 to replace my ViewSonic 19" monitor (now I can get rid of the kids 17" CRT) This is my first time playing with a widescreen, so here are some screen shots to compare the two screen resolutions and FOV settings. FIRST Photo: ViewSonic 1280x1024 with FOV of 78 SECOND Photo: Samsung 1920x1080 with FOV 59 Screen shots from isla Inocentes standing of the roof of the car near the upper Helo Bit better field of view Get a better zoom with Widescreen (note how much of the trees fit in the scope) | |
