| Hey, anyone know what I can do?
I have a cheap Conia HDTV 42" Yeh Yeh I know
When I set up my Laptop to display it says "unsupported" so no display But if I restart the laptop it displays the startup on the tv until I guess the vid drivers kick in
The laptop is a new Satellite and runs Nvidia GT230m

| 2 things
1: When you connect it up right click the laptop screen and go to properties in there is a setting for refrsh rate 60 hertz. If your TV won't support 60 hertz turn off the option to 'hide other modes'.
2: Check that the input on the TV is set to RGB-PC.

| I like half of your advice there Lylow. I know you service them but I'm not a Sony fan really.
But the other models in the second link are great. I'm pretty sure you doesn't handle those models however. As I'm sure your VERY aware, they are self service only.

Im not going to share me private stash with the likes of YOU lot Seriously though - im not a PC techie by any stretch. Just make sure the TV can accept the resolution your feeding into it, and that the bloody Conia piece of junk DOES actually work. Feed another PC's VGA cable into that input on your tele - for shits and giggles. See if ANYTHING works on that input. Stuff like that.
