I ended up playing about 3-4 hrs off it. It's was nice, cant wait for the rest off the maps. Wake island bring it on................... Metro is a fuk up, but apparently we get to play all maps in every mode so there is going to be some bad combinations out there.

8 maps in every mode, plus 4 more maps if you preorder the expansion pack (wake island, karkand etc).
12 maps is bloody good on release I reckon! A shit load more than usual anyway.

Its very good release that many maps and they have said that the DLC content will be much higher than any other battlefield game so I think we are going to be in for a great year ahead.
I am hoping that the 4gig beta is 90% engine, 10% map and that the final download will only be 9-10gig. Only because download time not because its too big as I want to be playing ASAP on release!!
The fact every map has every mode will make things interesting. Who knows Metro may be great on conquest or squad deathmatch etc etc.
All in all cant wait will be a great game I reckon.

My housemate is doing the midnight launch at EB so he's going to pick it up for me. Probably won't be able to play till the next day though. Oh well.
