Hardcore servers

There are some 'Hardcore' server out there in which the bullets do more damage, ff= on and no mini map.

See if you can find one and post the name. It should have Hardcore iin the title.

I'm starting to get bored ff = off and people spraying bullets around rooms. Plus the guns are really inaffective and need a damage boost.

Last night I thought I was using a spud gun, when do I get the bullet upgrade package award to go from frozen potato to full metal jacket????

I played it today, pretty good game .

Yeah, played on some game arena ones last night. Not bad but the server was lightly populated at the time

I found a ff on HC server at last, last night.

I spent my 1st 6 tickets getting tk'ed by panic merchants who shit themselves when i spawned with them or ran me down.

After that, i was tk'ed nearly every 2nd spawn. It was unbelieveably pathetic.

I didn't kill one of my team in 4 rounds....

When the game is released, i'm super keen on ff on HC but damn, i'm gonna be looking for a real team who can tell who's bloody who.

Yeah it's a problem with Hardcore servers with idiots spamming the guns at anything that moves.

The best Hc servers I've found are the Hypernia Sydney and the 20 player GameArena server's.


Upon release we will be running a 32 player, friendly fire, hardcore server. I belive the minimap will be an option to add in but I'll have to wait and see upon release how much control we get over the server.

Not really the Amercans (defenders) tend to wear helmets and the Russians (attackers) tent to wear balaclavas or berets.

There's a definite difference once your used to the diff kits.

The russian medics wear red berets and americans wear the white caps.

The name above your player is the giveaway.


It takes time to notice the difference but you learn and can even tell at distances in the end.

A HC server with hud on but those silly triangles off the enemy would be ok along with ff on etc. I play ok with no x-hairs but it's quite a bit of a change for most.
Guess you could always red dot the centre of your screen.

Few more days and it's back to 2142 for a week b4 release.

I'm so used to playing without crosshairs it's wierd playing with them. The only thing that annoys me about it is the mounted weapons don't have crosshairs.

You would think that the mounted weapons sights would
line up with the target.....but they dont. Same in the blackhawk,
you just spray and prey and watch the kills scroll onto the screen.

Yeah thats lousy hey. Why wont the 40mm grenade launcher let you look down the barrel? Cheap!
