Pre-order Comparisons

Thanks to Lucky.shot.au for bringing this one to our attention. A single website to show you all the different options for pre-ordering BF3 in Australia.

If you haven't pre-ordered yet, but you want to - this is the site for you. And even if you have pre-ordered but just want to curse your luck for not ordering the cool BF3 collectors hat ( !!! ) then also suss it out.

To add to this if you head over to www.bf3blog.com you'll get most of the up to date information. Like pre-orders are already at a staggering 1.25 million.

Also there's a blog about prices etc of current games you can get if you havent pre-ordered.

As for me. I missed out on the JBHi-Fi hat. And the T-shirt combo. Looks like I'll be playing this game naked boys I already pre ordered on Origin so get just the extra maps and weapon pack etc.

Origin for me too.

Pre release beta and I assume it'll be the same as Bc2 and be avaliable to download a few days before actual release. So come the 25th all I have to do is get up, jerk off and turn my pc on

Pre-ordered from Game.com.au to get the SPECACT skins as part of it. Also get 10 custom dog tags but don't really care about those.

The only specact gear I like there is the Russian engi, assault and recon.
American recon isn't too bad either.

So what is the best option here guys?

Do I go straight to Origin for pre order. Which by the look of it does not include specycat. I also don't get a CD with the game on it.

Or JBHI looks OK and that comes with specycat and a hat.

I usually buy my games at the local EB.

myself i dont care about the disc as i download all my games as if you loose (move house ect) them you can d/load them again but thats me
like in with the bc2 specact you can unlock the shit anyway thats my 2cents

I think I will just pre order it through Origin and hope it not a complete fucking waste of money like Medal_of_FAIL.

Lets face it even if BF3 is a massive pile of shit we are all going to be playing it. We have got no where else to go.

I've had just about enough of this bollocks, I only play so I can spend time with you guys.

I don't think BF3 will be a fail. There will be some aspects of the game that will irritate and make us scratch our head and ask why did they do that?

But from all the footage it does look good and really if it’s anything like the playability of BC2 it will be a win. For all the whinging I have still got over 1000 hours in BC2 so it cannot be that bad. BC2 is a good game and I think BF3 will be similar but better.

Don't get me wrong I've got as many hours playing Bc2 as the next guy but it's the little things that annoy me about.

The dodgy graphic glitches, the fact you can't drive a tank or buggy through certain parts of a fence because of poor collision detection. The bullets that seem to bend around corners and kill you. The fact you can see someone but can't hit them because the corner of a brick THAT HAS BEEN DESTROYED can stop your bullet


To many little things that are bad ruin the whole after a while.

I do like the leg sweep knife. It looks fast and puts you in a safe crouched position.

Dolphin diving confirmed????!!!!!!! OMG I'm back! Shotguns, dolphin diving....all I need now is an infantry scanner and it'll be 2142 all over again! Hahaha

See what happens Lylow, they have made over 100 changes to the game
since the alpha testing afew months ago.

Might even email a suggestion that if you dolphin dive with a shotgun it will
back fire taking off your head!

those graphics must be on the lowest possible settings! c64!
