Just putting it out there, Portal 2 is an amazing game.
Just got a job so celebrated by getting Portal 2 from the bro.
Ideally it would be awesome if you could buy it off steam with cadet_king, peachy and myself but it IS already available there (y'know, that place on the web) if you just want the campaign - which I highly recommend also.

Is online play really that good? I mean it's a fun game no dought but I can only see myself saying yer I played the campaign (which I have) and then that's it.

I quite like the online component, I've played it with a few JKS people and a few IRL buddies and we had a good laugh. If you play with an acquaintance or just a friend you'll probably find it fairly tedious because everything goes accordingly, if you play it with a best mate then they're looking to trip you up as much as possible and then its hilarious. The game narrator tries to turn you against each other too.
