ATi load times Driver fix

Just tried it and I load twice as fast as I used to!!

i will dl these when i get home.

glad you got them to work.

In future the correct way to install new drivers is:
uninstall ati drivers.
reboot and hold f8 and boot into safe mode.
run driver sweeper, it can be found here:

reboot into windows
install new drivers.

Sometimes if you install over the top of the old drivers it may not update properly or cause instability which in the end will make you reinstall windows.

No shit. I never knew that! I always just ran the update figuring it would "update". You would think if you had to un-install the old driver first the installer thing would magically do that for you.
Oh well good to know anyway.

You don't need to uninstall anything , the new drivers will use some of the old files so it just replaces the ones that are new and reuses the old files.

beware rocka, i read many posts of the same problems with ati and nvidia drivers. i have had to reinstall the os with ati drivers but i was fine with nvidia but there are people who had the same problem with the nvidia drivers. ccc doesn't work for alot of people if you just install over the top instead of uninstalling.
