BF3 Preload Tomorrow 21/10/11

hey peeps i just got this message from EA so I am guessing we all should clear some space on our ssd tomorrow

Rang EB Games today to see when pre ordered games where expected for pick-up.

Next Thursday 27th 8.30am

Why the 27th? The game is released on 25th isn't it? So it should be avalible to be picked up on the 26th for us.

They're doing a midnight launch on the 26th/27th Reef, if your store is doing it you can pick it up then.

If you look on the BF3 Origin store page it also says the release date 27th
Guess they are wanting you to dL your games

My preload email says the 26th

Fuck knows, I have downloaded it but it does a validation check before it will launch. Atleast the patch should be out by the time we actually get to play.

Australian release date is the 27th of October.

So my housemate could bring my home at 1am Wednesday night/Thursday morning, but it won't be valid till 9am Thurs? Bonus, I'll have some time to dl the patch.

How big is the patch? anyone got a heads up on that?

Nope no idea. The patch was in the pre download apparently

i heard many stores are doing a mid night launch (actually 11pm start.). this is melbourne too. Also got told eb games were the only ones to sell but every store has it already. I will check out me info and get back to u tomorrow.

Don't worry about collecting at midnight. Origin isn't live until 9am so you can't play it anyway.....

Getting your hard copy early gives you time to leg hump the game case tho lol

You all suck because I am away from the 27th until the 1st. Dice can suck my balls for making me miss it. Should have been the 25th least I could have had two sleepless days playing.

Well get a headstart boys Ill be back on the 1st to try and cause some JKS chaos in the servers.

P.s for my own self consideration purposes only I hope the game is stilly buggy and the release a patch on or around the 1st to make it playable again.
