my budget is a little bit more, absolute max of $2000
i need: - the tower (obviously)
i want but not absolutely necessary: - keyboard - mouse
is lucky's rig still the best option? i want to be able to play bf3 on high graphics (i have never played a game on high graphics before)

| Personally I think the balance of cooling to power is tipped a bit on the wrong side. I like most of the list up until about the case. It's a matter of looks mostly but the case seems like a bit of an overkill, you could save $50 and get a more simple case. The cooler at $169 - you could just get a $40 air cooler and that would still give you room to overclock/multiply some if you wanted to. Just from first opinion you don't sound like the kind to try and run a 5ghz CPU speed. You could then put that money saved into the second graphics card, maybe a mouse & keyboard you like the look of, and end up at maybe ~$1700 Just my 2 cents, even if you don't know me edit: oh, and if you have already bought your parts, well, dun i luk silli | |
