wow thats a lot of kms mate get a RAC inspection on it first 100-200$

The car seems very cheap for that year and plus its a ute witch hold their value that leads me to think there is something wrong???

also do a REVS CHECK on the VIN and LIC plate to make sure it is legit

Yeah, are you sure its not 28 THOUSAND, and old mates missed a zero? Those things always live in the 25,000 and up type area. I was looking at (dreaming of) an SS holden ute for myself never under 3000 bucks.

EVER.

Unless its a little old lady that remembers cars cost $5000 back in 1972 and so reckons $2800 is a good deal now on a 2nd hander....

My work van does a SHIT load of KM's mate. 2004 model and its got 330,000 in the dial. If this thing is a 2002 and has done nearly 300,000 then someones given it a fair bit of a work out.

Ex-farm ute? Around the farm every day sun up til sundown, then in and out of town every other day.... it'll have done a lot of work.

take someone with you, wear a chasity belt just in case.

Don't give funds via paypal, dont let a norwegien prince's "helper" come and deliver to you.

I.e this stinks of all sorts of stuff.

But if you can prove me wrong I'll be first to give you a high five and say well done on a brilliant buy.

I just picked up my new car today from Auckland. 97 Diamante 6G72 Mivec. Boy did I have some fun driving it home from Auckland! Got the run on an STI out of a corner dropped it down a few gears and put it foot flat. As I went past heard the Subaru drop a gear and the turbo spool up... tehehe He had nothing once it hit Mivec. The best non aspirated car I have ever driven. Only a 3litre but it has some serious kick. Stock Standard too. Cant wait to strip out all the excess wait. Give it an exhaust that flows well (typical Mitsi prob) and re-do the Intake so it can breath put a rollcage in it an go racing :p

I would not look past one if you're after a car with a bit of power. But beware to get one that has been serviced regularly.

So lucky to have so much money to spend on you're first car. I had $1,000 and had to pay every cent back.

Omg people raving about Bitsashitty's???

What has this world come to lol.

Buy Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan for reliability, Mitsi (Australia) died in the ass for a reason lads, and the Magna/Verada as previously mentioned was the main reason

Listen to Nutta! I have also worked and dealt with many variety of vehicle, you can get a whole lot of car for your budget and a 380 would not even come into the picture.
